How do I book an appointment?
Find a business on the home page or search, open its booking page, and pick a service, then a team member (or “First available”), then an open time. You'll sign in with a code sent to your email (or Google) to confirm it.
I didn't get my sign-in code
Check spam/junk first — it comes from our booking system. You can request a new code after the short countdown on screen. If several codes were requested quickly, you may need to wait a few minutes before another can be sent.
Can I sign in with Google?
Yes — choose "Continue with Google" on the sign-in or sign-up page. We only receive your name, email and profile photo from Google. If it's your first time, we pre-fill your name from Google but you'll confirm or edit it yourself before you can book — nothing is finished for you automatically.
Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Open My appointments and choose the appointment — you can reschedule or cancel it there up until the business's notice window closes (shown on the appointment itself). The link in your confirmation email works the same way without signing in.
Can I get notifications on my phone?
Yes. Add Timzen to your Home Screen, open it, and tap “Enable notifications” (or switch on phone notifications in your notification settings). You'll get a notification when a business confirms, moves or cancels a booking, when a spot opens on a waitlist you joined, and with each appointment reminder. In the same settings you can turn Waitlist openings and Reminders off on their own, or all push updates at once. Notifications are extra: the email for each of these is always sent, so you never depend on your phone.
I'm running late, or need to reach the business
Contact the business directly using the phone number or address on your confirmation email or appointment details — Timzen doesn't relay messages to the business in real time.
How do I pay?
You pay the business directly, in person, however they accept payment. Timzen never collects payment or card details — every price shown is the business's own display price.
How do I change the email I sign in with?
Open your profile, choose “Change email,” and enter the new address. We send a 6-digit code to the new address, and your email changes as soon as you enter it. You stay signed in, your bookings stay as they are, and from then on your sign-in codes, confirmations and reminders go to the new address. We also tell your old address that it changed.
My email was changed and it wasn't me
The notice we send to your old address has a “This wasn't me” button that opens a message to us (info@adwebdesignny.com). Write to us from your old address, say so, and we'll lock the account and put your email back.
How do I delete my account?
Open your profile and choose “Delete my account.” This removes your login and personal details immediately; a business you've visited keeps its own record of that visit, the way any business keeps its own client history. If you have upcoming appointments you can tick “Cancel my upcoming bookings too” (it's ticked by default) and each business is told. Untick it and they stay booked with the business. You can also download a copy of your data first if you'd like to keep it.

For businesses

How do I get listed on Timzen?
Sign up yourself: choose a plan on Pricing, fill in the short form and pay through Square's secure checkout. Your account is created automatically and you get an email to sign in. Prefer a hand? Say so in the form and we'll set up your booking page, services and team with you.
How do I set my hours, services and team?
Once your account is live, use the "Services", "Team" and "Locations" areas of your dashboard to add what you offer, who provides it, and when you're open. You can edit them any time, and we can set them up with you if you ask.
How do I find an appointment?
Open Appointments in your dashboard menu (under Today, next to Calendar). Type part of a customer's name, phone number or email in the search box, or use the chips and the Filters panel to narrow the list by date, week, time of day, team member, service, location, how it happens (in person, at their address, phone or online) and where it came from. The chips show how many are upcoming, waiting for a reply, completed, cancelled, no-shows or expired (requests nobody confirmed in time), and a cancelled row says who cancelled it, when, and the reason they gave. Tap a row for the full record and its history. The address of the page keeps your filters, so you can bookmark a view or send it to someone on your team. Owners and managers can download the filtered list with “Export CSV”; a provider sees only their own appointments.
What can each team role see and do?
The owner can do everything. Managers can do almost everything too: the calendar, customers, services, team and settings. A few things stay with the owner alone, such as changing another owner's access, seeing what a product costs, and the Privacy switch below. The front desk books and changes appointments, checks people in, and sees every customer. A Provider sees their own appointments and calendar, and only the customers they have served or are booked with, so one team member's customer list stays out of another's hands. That is the default. If your team shares customers and you would rather everyone see them all, the owner can turn on “Team members can see all customers” in Settings, under Privacy, and turn it off again any time. View only can look at the calendar, customers and reports but can't change anything.
How do customers find and book me?
Every business gets its own booking link, a QR code, a "Book now" button for your website, and an embeddable widget — all in Settings → Share & embed. You can also opt into the Timzen directory so nearby customers searching your category can find you.
What plans do you offer, and how does billing work?
See Pricing for the plans. You pay monthly through Square's secure checkout (plus NY sales tax) — Timzen never sees or stores your card — and you can change plans from your dashboard's billing area.
How do reminders and notifications work?
Customers get an automatic email confirmation and reminder for their booking. A customer who installed Timzen and allowed notifications also gets a phone notification with the reminder, and when you offer them a time from your waitlist (or a class seat opens for them); they can switch either off, and the email always goes out. Your own notification preferences (what you're alerted about, and how) live in your dashboard settings.
